Derbyshire County Council is currently consulting on proposals to withdraw funding for subsidised local bus services and community transport Dial-a-Bus 'shopping buses' from October 2017.
We would like to encourage as many people as possible to take part in this consultation and would like to enlist your help to raise awareness of it in your local area.

The Post Office has informed the Parish Council that they are proposing to re-open Sawley Post Office of 46 Draycott Road at a new location - 159-161 Wilmot Street Long Eaton NG10 3EL. If the proposal goes ahead it will be one of the new local style branches.
