Join in the Amber Valley and Erewash Walking Festival.
The Autumn Footprints Festival offers a great choice of 42 free guided walks from 14 - 29 September 2019. Sixteen days of enjoyable walks and informative talks with something for everyone of all abilities.

Sawley Parish Council is hosting a Community Bulb Planting event on Sunday 13th October 2019 from 11.30am-1.30pm and is looking for volunteers to help.
Come along and join in this family friendly activity as we prepare the village for a beautiful spring!
All to meet at Sawley Memorial Hall, Draycott Road at 11.30am, then we will work in teams at different sites in the village.

ALL RESIDENTS OF SAWLEY ARE INVITED TO ATTEND the Annual Parish meeting for the village of Sawley. This will take place on Tuesday 25 June 2019.
Commencing at 6.30pm, this is an opportunity for groups and organisations to give an update on their activity in 2018/19 to the residents of Sawley.

All are welcome to attend a TEA DANCE presented by Erewash Voluntary Action based in Long Eaton.
The dance will be held on Wednesday 12th June 2019, 1.30pm - 3.30pm

Like to Knit, Crochet and Natter? Then join a new group that has just started to meet up every week in Sawley!

We're looking for lovely private gardens, allotments and community spaces who may wish to open their gates for the 2019 Sawley Garden Trail in July.
The next meeting of the Sawley Garden Trail Committee is on Wednesday 13 March at 7.15pm at St.Mary's. All are welcome to attend this planning meeting.

Thank you to the many residents, young and old, who came along yesterday evening to celebrate the switching on of the Sawley Christmas Lights.
A huge crowd gathered at Lakeside Park for the event. Prior to the switch on they were entertained by the Long Eaton Silver Prize Band and the Choir, U3A Silvatones who bravely played and sang Christmas Carols and tunes in the cold - but thankfully dry - November... Read More »
