Sawley Parish Council would like to advise car park users that the car park on Lakeside Park will be locked at night from Monday 20 June 2016.
Any cars left in the car park after 9.30pm will be locked in until the following morning.

Derbyshire County Council is currently consulting on proposals to withdraw funding for subsidised local bus services and community transport Dial-a-Bus 'shopping buses' from October 2017.

The Post Office has informed the Parish Council that they are proposing to re-open Sawley Post Office of 46 Draycott Road at a new location - 159-161 Wilmot Street Long Eaton NG10 3EL. If the proposal goes ahead it will be one of the new local style branches.

Voluntary and community groups across Erewash can apply for funding to help them with their work when Erewash Borough Council opens another round of its Small Community Grants scheme on Monday 11 January.
Groups both large and small can apply for up to £2,000 before the closing date of 5pm on Monday 8 February.
