Falklands 40th anniversary

Tuesday, 14th June marks the 40th Anniversary of the end of the Falklands conflict and Sawley will take part in the National remembrance for ALL who lost their lives.
The Parish Council will lay a single wreath on behalf of the community to remember and pay respect.
The Rector from All Saints will say a prayer.
The Union flag will be lowered to half mast - which will remain for 24 hours.
The short service will follow the guidelines issued by the RBL and will give remembrance to those on both sides who lost their lives
Residents are welcome to attend
