Visit to Sawley by Hardyal Dhindsa - Derbyshire's Police and Crime Commissioner
Hardyal Dhindsa, Police and Crime Commissioner for Derbyshire attended the October meeting of Sawley Parish Council.
Residents of Sawley were invited to come along and meet with PCC Dhindsa as part of his #D383 tour of Derbyshire's urban, suburban and rural communities. During his term of office, PCC Dhindsa plans to visit all 343 villages or towns in Derbyshire as he seeks views on policing, community safety and victim services in each local area.
The meeting was held on Tuesday 23 October at Sawley Women's Institute Hall and a group of residents took the opportunity to engage with the Commissioner and have their say on what matters to them regarding local policing services.
The Parish Council welcomed the informative presentation that PCC Dhindsa gave and appreciated the time he took to answer the many questions from residents of the village.
