Sawley Parish Council has recently been made aware that the submission to Erewash Borough Council from Hedgerow Holdings Ltd to apply for a premises licence under section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003 has been withdrawn.
The meeting of the Licensing and Public Protection Panel scheduled for Tuesday 20 December 2016 at 10am (and Wednesday 21 December if required) has been cancelled.

Sawley was full of festive cheer on Friday night as our Christmas light switch-on attracted hundreds of revellers – both young and old.
The countdown to Christmas began at Sawley Methodist Church, where to add to the festive spirit, complimentary (non-alcoholic) mulled wine, apple punch, mince pies and gingerbread were provided by Sawley Parish Council.

The event will start at 7pm with members of the public able to join us for complimentary mulled wine / apple punch (non-alcoholic), mince pies, games and plenty of community spirit at the Sawley Methodist Church.

The Remembrance Day Service and Parade will be held on Sunday 13 November 2016.
